Vitra Design Museum
As part of our association with Maker Library Network via our friends at Thingking, we were invited to make a second Starling for their Maker Library Network exhibition at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany in 2015.
So was born Starling 1.1, which uses a hacked pirate iPod to play back a recording of an actual starling. This robot was produced with the expert input of Daan de Beer, a retired electronic engineering lecturer who has assisted many artists in Cape Town!
